Pin Point Party

In an effort to come up with a collaborative party game, I made a slide deck of photos I'd taken around the world and had people guess where they were. It was extremely fun to pick out what photos to share and see where people where guessing these photos where taken, I wanted to make it repeatable. Pin Point Party is that game, captured. Think GeoGuessr x Kahoot, with photos from your friends' camera rolls instead of Google Street View.

Game Design

Play testing with friends revealed there were really two games here. Host Mode: a host pre-selects the photos before the game, then launches it once everyone's in. Player Mode: what actually happened in play tests: people wanted friends to guess their locations. So everyone uploads a photo at the start of the game, and the round pool builds itself.

Prep Room
